When the heart calls for education, elementary school is the place to grow
The classroom teacher is a central figure in elementary education. The teacher is at the same time the child's representative in the adult world and the adult's representative in the child's world. This essential role allows him, on the one hand, to be sensitive, to recognize and identify with the child's subjective point of view, to respect him and value him as he is, and on the other hand, he knows that the child's human development does not take place in a closed space, and that it involves intellectual, social and cultural experience and the existence of objective standards against which the child must conduct himself.
